COLOTAN 3rd Network-Wide Event was held in Leuven, Belgium, from 8th – 10th June 2022.
We had the first COLOTAN event where the whole team of ESRs and supervisors met together, since the project kicked off during COVID19 measures.
The first 2 days (Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th June) were filled with dedicated training sessions (scientific and soft skills), including visits to industrial partners (EUROFINS CDMO and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson).
On Friday, the ESRs presented their research progress, their upcoming research plans, as well as their dissemination and communication activities. Moreover, it was a great opportunity to share ideas, exchange input, and define new collaboration plans.
This in-person event included a nice team dinner and F2F networking during breaks (that a virtual event could never provide), which brought the team closer on both, scientific and personal levels.
