ULLA Summer School 2021

From the 6th to the 8th of July, Pedro attended the ULLA Summer School 2021. This year the event would take place in Uppsala, Sweden, but, due to the pandemic, it turned out to be virtual. The summer school featured diversified scientific training modules and several social events.

He contributed with a pitch and a poster presentation titled “Towards enhanced translational human colon-specific in vitro tissue models for assessment of ADME/PK and Tox properties”.

UNGAP Meeting 2021

On the 28th and 29th of September, Pedro attended the UNGAP Meeting 2021, where he presented a poster titled “On the road to enhanced translational colon in vitro tissue models for assessment of drug disposition, metabolism and safety”.

With this poster, he was able to discuss and obtain constructive feedback on the first steps of his project, which is currently being developed at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson.
